Digitaline IPTV – How to Set Up IPTV on Firestick & Smart TV

Choose your device and follow the steps with the login details from your welcome message. Most setups take about 10 minutes, and our team is on WhatsApp 24/7 if you get stuck.

Before you start

What you need for your Digitaline IPTV setup

IPTV setup needs no technician. Your welcome message from your Digitaline IPTV subscription contains everything you need; have these four things ready:

  • Your login details: Xtream Codes details (the server URL, your username and your password) or an M3U playlist link, sent with your setup instructions once your order is confirmed
  • A compatible device: Amazon Fire TV Stick, Samsung, LG and Sony Smart TVs, Android TV boxes, Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad or Windows PCs and Macs
  • A stable connection: we recommend at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K, ideally over Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi
  • A player app that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist, such as IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate

How does IPTV work?

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) streams live TV over your internet connection instead of cable or satellite. Digitaline IPTV provides the channels, movies and series; your IPTV player app shows them on screen.

The app signs in with an Xtream Codes login (the server URL, your username and your password) or an M3U playlist link. You enter them once, and the app loads everything.

Apps

Digitaline IPTV: which IPTV app for your device?

Digitaline IPTV works on Amazon Fire TV Stick, Samsung, LG and Sony Smart TVs, Android TV boxes, Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad and Windows PCs and Macs, with any player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist. These are the two our own guide recommends most often.

PlayerWhy choose it
IPTV Smarters ProFree and straightforward, a good choice for a first IPTV setup
TiviMateLooks like a cable box with a full TV guide; recording and multiple playlists need its paid Premium version
Any other playerWorks if it supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist

Not sure what suits your model? Ask our team on WhatsApp.

Install safely: Digitaline IPTV's advice

  • Install players only from your device's official app store, the developer's official website or the address our team gives you, never from an unknown site.
  • The Install unknown apps permission only applies to the app you switch on. Once your player is installed, you can switch it off again for Downloader.
  • Your plan covers a set number of devices watching at once; an app left running on another screen counts toward that limit.
  • Never post your password, server URL or playlist link in a public message, forum or screenshot.
  • Player apps contain no channels: the content comes from your Digitaline IPTV subscription.
Step by step

How to set up IPTV with Digitaline IPTV, device by device

Pick your device and follow the steps. Keep your Digitaline IPTV welcome message with your login details at hand.

Set up IPTV on Firestick (Amazon Fire TV)

About 10 minutes, with IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate

  1. 1Update your Fire TV: Settings → My Fire TV → About → Check for updates, and let any update install
  2. 2From the home screen, go to Find → Search, type Downloader and install the app with the orange icon, published by AFTVnews
  3. 3Go to Settings → My Fire TV → About, highlight your device name and press Select seven times; then open Developer options → Install unknown apps and switch Downloader on
  4. 4Search the Amazon Appstore for IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate first; if it isn't listed in your country, open Downloader, enter the address from the player developer's official website (or the one our team sends you) and install it
  5. 5In IPTV Smarters Pro, choose "Login with Xtream Codes API"; in TiviMate, choose Add playlist → Xtream Codes login. Enter the server URL, your username and your password exactly as they appear in your welcome message, including "http://" and the port number at the end if there is one
  6. 6Wait while the channels, movies and TV guide load: with a library this size, the first load can take a few minutes. Then hide the channel groups you never watch: with 35,000+ channels, a shorter list is faster to browse

Newer models such as the Fire TV Stick 4K Select run Vega OS, which only installs apps from the Amazon Appstore. If that's your device, message our team on WhatsApp before you subscribe.

Set up IPTV on a Smart TV

Samsung, LG and Sony Smart TVs

  1. 1Open your TV's app store and install a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist (for example IPTV Smarters Pro where it's available)
  2. 2Open the player and choose the Xtream Codes login
  3. 3Enter the server URL, your username and your password exactly as they appear in your welcome message, including "http://" and the port number at the end if there is one
  4. 4Received an M3U link instead? Choose the M3U or playlist URL option and paste the whole link
  5. 5Wait while the channels, movies and TV guide load: with a library this size, the first load can take a few minutes

Not sure which player your TV model supports? Ask our team on WhatsApp, or plug in a Fire TV Stick and follow that guide.

Set up IPTV on Android TV, a phone or a TV box

Android TV boxes, phones and tablets

  1. 1Open Google Play and install a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist (for example IPTV Smarters Pro where it's available)
  2. 2Open the player and choose the Xtream Codes login
  3. 3Enter the server URL, your username and your password exactly as they appear in your welcome message, including "http://" and the port number at the end if there is one
  4. 4Received an M3U link instead? Choose the M3U or playlist URL option and paste the whole link
  5. 5Wait while the channels, movies and TV guide load: with a library this size, the first load can take a few minutes

Set up IPTV on iPhone or iPad

iPhone and iPad

  3. 3Enter the server URL, your username and your password exactly as they appear in your welcome message, including "http://" and the port number at the end if there is one
  4. 4Received an M3U link instead? Choose the M3U or playlist URL option and paste the whole link
  5. 5Wait while the channels, movies and TV guide load: with a library this size, the first load can take a few minutes

Set up IPTV on a Windows PC or Mac

Windows PCs and Macs

  1. 1Open your computer's app store or the player developer's official website and install a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist (for example IPTV Smarters Pro where it's available)
  2. 2Open the player and choose the Xtream Codes login
  3. 3Enter the server URL, your username and your password exactly as they appear in your welcome message, including "http://" and the port number at the end if there is one
  4. 4Received an M3U link instead? Choose the M3U or playlist URL option and paste the whole link
  5. 5Wait while the channels, movies and TV guide load: with a library this size, the first load can take a few minutes

A wired Ethernet connection gives the most stable playback on a computer.

If the service doesn't load

The fixes from our own guide, on every device

  1. 1"Login failed": check the server URL character by character, including "http://" and the port; usernames and passwords are case-sensitive
  2. 2Still refused? Make sure you haven't reached your plan's device limit, for example by leaving the app running on a phone
  3. 3Empty TV guide: the EPG loads separately, so give it a few minutes, then update the EPG in the player and check its time zone. The TV guide comes with the 3-month plan and up
  4. 4Buffering: run a speed test on the device and compare it with 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K; use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, power a streaming stick from the wall, and clear the player's cache
  5. 5Still stuck? Tell our team on WhatsApp which channel buffers and at what time, or send a screenshot of the step where you're stuck
FAQ

Digitaline IPTV installation: your questions

How do I set up IPTV on my TV?

On a Samsung, LG or Sony Smart TV, install a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist from the TV's app store and sign in with your details. On any other TV, plug in a Fire TV Stick or an Android TV box and follow the guide for that device.

What is IPTV and how do I use it?

IPTV streams TV over your internet connection instead of cable or satellite. You install a player app on your TV, streaming stick, phone or computer, then sign in with the details your provider sends you. With Digitaline IPTV, that's Xtream Codes details (the server URL, your username and your password) or an M3U link, and the app loads 35,000+ live channels and the movies and series.

Which IPTV app should I use?

Any player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist works. The two our guide recommends most often: IPTV Smarters Pro, free and straightforward, a good choice for a first IPTV setup; TiviMate, looks like a cable box with a full TV guide; recording and multiple playlists need its paid Premium version.

What are Xtream Codes and M3U?

They're the two ways to load your subscription. Xtream Codes is a login with three details: the server URL, your username and your password. An M3U playlist is a single link you paste into the player instead.

How do I set up IPTV on a Firestick?

Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore and allow it under Developer options → Install unknown apps. Install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate (from the Appstore if it's listed in your country, otherwise with Downloader), then log in with your Xtream Codes details or M3U link.

How long does IPTV setup take?

About 10 minutes on a Fire TV Stick, and you only do it once. The first load of the channels and the TV guide can take a few minutes more.

Can I get IPTV on my phone?

Yes. Digitaline IPTV works on Android phones and tablets and on iPhone and iPad: install a player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlist from Google Play or the App Store. The login details are the same as on your TV.

Where are my login details?

After you order, the team confirms your plan and payment, then sends your login details and setup instructions in your welcome message. If you can't find them, message us on WhatsApp.

How to order

What internet speed do I need for IPTV?

We recommend at least 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Most buffering comes from home Wi-Fi rather than the service, so use Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi if you can.

The channels load but the TV guide is empty. What should I do?

The TV guide (EPG) loads separately from the channel list, so give it a few minutes, then update the EPG in the player and check its time zone. The TV guide is included from the 3-month plan up.
